Explora offers a range of prepaid service options for DNA sequencing. Benefit from our prepaid service options, which are:

Pre-paid kits includes pre-labelled tubes or plate and are available for both low- and high-throughput  sequencing. Pre-paid kits will be sent to you within 5 business days.

Our sequencing service ensure: 

  • personal account for ordering and results retrival
  • single runs on plasmid or PCR fragments within 5 business day
  • single runs on BAC or Cosmid within 10 business day
  • average reading length: 400 - 700 bp
  • standard primers free of charge (see Standard Primer List)
  • custom primer can be synthetised on request and stored in-house for further sequencing reactions
  • results are provided non-edited as FASTA file and chromatograms and loaded on our servers so that you can access them wherever you are 24/365
  • free re-run upon request
  • fixed frice for 1 year (see Sequencing Price List)

Important information for PCR and Plasmid sequencing 

To ensure optimal results please provide the required amount of DNA according to the following guidelines:

 PCR Products  10 ng / ul
 Plasmids  50 ng / ul

 

  

  • if you provide your own primer, DNA must be provided pre-mixed with the specific primer (20 pmoles total amount) in 15 ul acqueous solution (avoid EDTA whenever possible). 
  • if you use Explora's standard primers, DNA must be provided in 10 ul acqueous solution (avoid EDTA whenever possible).

Standard primers selected from our Standard Primer List will be added in-house free of charge.

S-size pre-paid Barcode Labels are useable for single sample sequencing service (tube format).  Each S-size pre-paid Barcode Labels kit includes 1,5ml tubes pre-labelled with unique linear bar code for unambiguous identification of your samples. You will receive one single invoice for all ordered labels and no further invoices for upcoming sequencing orders when redeeming your barcodes.
