Alanine scannining

Alanine scanning allows to replace one or more wild-type amino acid with alanine to investigate the contribution of an individual amino acid sidechain to the functionality of the protein of interest.

You provide us with:

• Wild-type protein sequence
• number and position of amino acid to be replaced by Alanine

We will deliver you:

• Gene Library cloned in a standard vector (customer vector option available). Each clone will harbour only one mutation.
• sequence-verified clones and detailed QC report
• Plasmid library prep (min 10 µg)
• Glycerol stock of transformed cells
