Combinatorial Libraries

Combinatorial libraries allow the simultaneous degeneration of multiple codons to achieve maximum diversity to identify proteins variants where epistatic and long-range effects play a major role. Using combinatorial libraries you can specify which amino acids will be randomised and the average number of mutations per clone.

You provide us with:

• Wild-type protein sequence
• number and position of amino acids

We will deliver you:

• Gene Library cloned in a standard vector (customer vector option available). Each clone will harbour an average number of mutation as specified by customer.
• sequence-verified clones and detailed QC report (number of sequencing according to library size and complexity)
• Plasmid library prep (amount according to library size and complexity)
• Glycerol stock of transformed cells
